Children in Zambia

Zambia has been very hard hit by HIV/AIDS; and more than 30,000 children are born HIV-positive each year.
More than 20 per cent of Zambian children have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS. Households with widows and orphans often lack the resources to cultivate sufficient food.
Zambia's health-care system faces shortages of drugs, equipment and qualified personnel, especially in rural areas.
a few words about us
We believe that every child should be valued equally, regardless of race, colour or circumstance. For every child is "A treasure beyond all measure".
Bethel Orphanage, Zambia
Bethel Orphanage is a Christian organisation caring for orphans in Zambia.
Bethel in Hebrew means "the House of God". Bethel provides a family environment where material support, love, security and dedicated guidance are offered to poor orphaned children. Our mission is to equip them with the skills, knowledge, opportunity and self assertiveness required for them to live independently in society.
Bethel Orphanage currently supports just over 100 children in Kafue, Zambia. Most are victims of the AIDS epidemic in Zambia. The essential needs of the children include nutrition, education, parental love, security, religious guidance, and the opportunity for a brighter future.
The entire Bethel Orphanage ministry strives to provide real hopes, dreams and plans for the future of the children.
Your charitable donations sponsor the children at Bethel Orphanage. Together we are doors of hope for them and their communities. May God bless you and minister to your needs as you meet the needs of those in distress.
